CAPOEIRA ANGOLA
Taught by Treinel Beto Defreitas and ICAF Chicago.

Classes are open to all (ages 10+). Please wear clothes that allow you to move freely. Shorts and tank tops are not allowed, and shoes are required . Please bring a dry pair of shoes to train in during the winter months.

NEW STUDENTS must complete a five-week session that will introduce the basic movements, music and history of Capoeia Angola. Introductory sessions run for five weeks and classes meet either Mondays, 7:00-9:00pm OR Saturdays 10:00-12:00pm. The cost is $75 payable by CASH or CHECK due at the first day of class. MIDDLE-EASTERN BELLY DANCE
Taught by Audrey Sica of Blue Lotus Tribe. Explore your body's potential for flexibility and muscle control. Learn to execute isolated movements with fluidity and rhythm. This class will offer an introduction to the basic elements of bellydance. Students will work toward building combinations of movement inspired by music from the Middle East.

Students will be accepted on a drop-in basis. Comfortable clothes and a hip scarf are required.

Class fees: $12 per class or 5 classes for $50.

JIU-JITSU
Taught by Pedro Vianna . A mixture of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Self-Defense, and other martial arts techniques. Pedro has been involved in martial arts since his childhood. He has trained and taught under Carlson Gracie Jr. school, and graduated with a black belt in 2000.

BRASILIAN PERCUSSION Taught by Felipe Fraga. Learn how to play brasilian rhythms such as samba and olodum. Instruments provided. www.felipefraga.com

Class fees: $15 per class or 5 classes for $65.

SAMBA DANCE Taught by Paula Merrit. Learn the moves and the history of authentic "Samba de Roda" dancing. No experience necessary.
